Louis XVI Style Napoleon III Piano Bench

Napoleon III period piano bench in Louis XVI style in gilded wood, Composed of a molded frame with rounded ends forming its seat. The latter are supported by three fluted feet, tapering towards the bottom. The bottom of the spinning top feet are nicely decorated with streaks and foliage. The feet are connected together by a concave spacer in gilded wood, beaded and fitted with a groove. Its refined belt has ribbon patterns and surrounds canework in very good condition. This small piano bench will be ideal for occupying an entryway, an end of a bed, or sitting in a living room. Bright hue and soft curved lines. It is sold with a beveled glass plate and an old placemat allowing it to be transformed into a coffee table. Period: Napoleon III - 2nd part of the 19th century. H 50 X l 105 X d 39.
