Description
Charming set of 8 stoneware cups from the digoin factory which has existed since 1875. The beige, brown and caramel enamel with golden highlights is warm and cozy. We can imagine ourselves, curled up in a cozy armchair, sipping a good coffee behind a bay window! But come summer, they will also make pretty cups for enjoying lemonade. The glazing obviously has small differences from one cup to another. Below, you can see the stamp “digoin made in france grespots”. These cups probably date from the 60s or 70s when stoneware was very popular. They are in very good condition, the only small signs of use are located under the base of two of them: one has a small chip, the the other has several. But for the two cups, the chips are barely visible when the cup is placed on the table. They measure 9 cm in height, with a diameter of 7 cm when opened. Each cup weighs approximately 200g.
