Description
This very pretty white porcelain box is part of the "design naïf" collection of villeroy & boch. Introduced in 1983, it is a whimsical collection featuring a popular art design of farm and country scenes. Designed by the corsican artist gérard laplau, its decorations have largely contributed to imposing "design naïf" as an art form throughout the world. The lid of the box has a winter décor. The box is underlined by a thin brown border around the perimeter of the lid. Twentieth century - 1980s-1990s. In good condition except for a tiny shine in the varnish of the lid but which is not noticeable and very small chips at the base. Candy box or also empty pocket or jewelry box. Diameter 7, 5cm. Height with lid 5cm. Weight: 146gr.
