Description
Abanica chairs, 1988 by oscar tusquets blanca. The traditional terrace chair brought up to date. Produced by aleph-driade in 1988 by oscar tusquets blanca. Designed as an outdoor chair, it was important that it withstand bad weather and the passage of time. Its structure is based on two side bands which form an X to constitute the feet and which support the backrest. The original version was made of wicker and aluminum, with a variation in painted steel and grille. Although it was designed for use outdoors, many homeowners have also chosen to use it indoors, such as in a living room, due to its informal and warm quality. The set consists of 7 chairs in steel and grille painted green, they are stable and solid but show slight signs of use and age, visible in the photos. These are chairs with an unusual design, but comfortable and functional, which maintain the pictorial and "artistic" side of this designer and architect who also designed the splendid Toledo metro station in Naples. Dimensions. Height: 86.5 cm. Width: 47 cm. Depth: 41 cm. Seat height: 45 cm.
