Antique wire bottle basket

Simple with handle, with space for four bottles and preferably full of good wine. This metal bottle rack or basket is already very rusty and very worn, because it is in fact old and has been used a lot. Its basket shape allows it to be transported anywhere. On the other hand and as some pictures show, this basket can also be a nice fruit basket. But it can also be a fantastic basket for magazines, placing them rolled up and surely it can have other uses, it only depends on our imagination and need. It's versatile, practical and very interesting. It has the shape of a basket, with handle and four compartments for bottles. Very elegant and light this basket has the metal welded together. Despite the rust and the wear of the metal the connections are very solid, so it is still a very robust and very safe basket. The wire has different thicknesses with the structuring parts being thicker, for example than the inner wire of the dividers. It is actually square in shape with rounded edges or sides, details that give it its elegant shape. With a lot of rust, as I said, this basket is in good vintage condition. However it is important to look closely at the photos to understand the type and amount of rust and oxidation the metal has.
