Old cartel pendulum

Cartel of fiddled shape in imitation of the tortoiseshell, applied with gilded bronzes decorated with acanthus leaves, florets and rockeries. The white enamelled dial with roman and arabic numerals, and halberd hands. Paris movement, blade suspension, and rattle ringing. It rests on a gilded molded wooden terrace. Louis XV style work, late nineteenth-early xxth centuries. Very good working order.
