Old painting signed Henri David

Superb old painting signed by the Agenais painter Henri David (XXth). Leader of the school of Verona (named after the valley of Verona), Henri David opens artists' studios in his villa Perlette. Friend of Suzanne Valladon, Henri David was the masters of several artists such as grandaty, pédoussaut, ballarin, ruiz pipo, torthe... Artist listed on artprice and referenced on the sites of the art market, this oil on panel is beautiful. It is a still life that represents a bouquet of carnations in a vase. The colors and overall composition are superb. In its original frame, the painting is in excellent condition with no accidents or signs of restoration to report. Only the wooden and gilded stucco frame has slight gaps in places (see photos). A thin cardboard on the back protects the back of the panel. A ring on the back allows it to be hung on the wall.
