Complete blue coffee service

1970s Winterling Schwarzenbach Bavaria West Germany Tea/Coffee Service Arabesque Pattern. A 1970s West German hand-painted coffee set for six, by Winterling Schwarzenbach of Bavaria, no signature but it is indeed this manufactory. 11 cups and saucers, a coffee maker, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and its saucers. A great mix of modernist form - angular, geometric - and traditional decoration. the whole is enamelled with Indian winterling blue, slightly spotted, each piece is hand painted with stylized patterns. The holding color and highlights give the d-shaped design an arabesque feel. Coffee maker 24cm high. Cups 7cm high.
