Vintage old boater straw hat in braided straw and black braid T56

This old boater hat is typical of early 20th century fashion: it was worn both by men, like fred astair and maurice chevalier, and by elegant women, notably gabriel chanel. Size 56, it is a rigid boater decorated with a large black braid. The straw is of good quality and the diamond braiding is precise and regular. The interior is lined with brown imitation leather. Of good quality, this hat can be worn today or complete a collection of old uniforms and headgear. In good condition, however, there are traces of use (fragility of the straw and dust). It measures 31 cm in width from edge to edge and 9.5 cm in height for the crown. This accessory will transport you to the 1900s, it evokes the taverns and cabarets of the early 20th century.
