Description
In the 1950s, le corbusier and jeanneret were commissioned by the indian government to draw the entire utopian city of chandigarh. In addition to the architecture of the city, they designed the furniture of all the official buildings. Very quickly, most indian administrations are inspired by these models for their own furniture. This is an old chair in a teak wood office in new delhi, whose canning has recently been hand-made in india. The chairs are sold in the state, only the cannage is redone. They always tell the record of their history.
