Description
Vase or foot of enamelled ceramic cylindrical lamp green of water brushed black, incised decoration of Bull. Annular plug on the shoulder. Signed under the base: "J. Blin". Jacques Blin (1920-1995) is an active french ceramist in the second half of the twentieth century. His style is characterized by the presence of illustrations of birds, animals, and scenes of daily life. Artist very engaged in the defence of his art, he became vice-president of the International Academy of ceramics in Geneva. It will also be president of the Federation of the potters and workshops of art in France for twenty years. Mid-20th century vase in glazed ceramic by Jacques Blin (French, 1920-1995), decorated with siren. Signed underneath: "J. Blin". Circa: 1950
