German beer advertising ashtray 1940-1950 becker's bier by villeroy boch mettlach

This pretty retro ashtray is made of villeroy & boch earthenware. It is an advertising ashtray of the german brewery becker's bier founded in 1877. Yellow and cream, it is tricolor and contrasted by the black logo of the brand. This model dates from the years 1940-50, it can be dated quite precisely by the mention economic union france saar in the signature: this union of saar county was established between 1947 and 1956. It bears the brand "villeroy et boch - mettlach - economic union france saar" and measures 20 cm in diameter. In good condition, I report cracks in the enamel and scratches of use.
