Bronze mortar with its seventeenth century pestle. Exhibit a piece of history in your home with this superb seventeenth-century apothecary mortar. Note a small hitch on the collar and oxidation of the bronze. The bottom is also domed, a sign of daily use at the time. It will be possible to return its complete gilding with a suitable product and elbow grease; ). We simply polished it and removed a little oxidation to leave it with this beautiful patina.
