Roller conference chair by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International - 1950

Conference chair with wheels designed by eero saarinen for international knoll (signature visible in the hollow of each roulette). Rotating metal foot with 4 wooden-lined branches with plastic castors mounted on ball bearing at the ends. Seat and backrest padded with polyurethane foam and coated with black leatherette "in its juice". Very good structural, the chair can be used as it is. Note: concerning the foot: the rotation system is a little hard (a little seized?), an adjustment of the wheels is to be expected (the chair is a little wobbly), the wood cladding has some imperfections. Concerning the seat and the backrest: the coating has some traces of wear and some tears. Seat height=47 cm.
