Villeroy & Boch SAAR serving set

Beautiful hand painted villeroy & boch ivy dessert set of 8 individual bowls and 2 serving plates. Made by v&b in the saar france region (stamped underneath) which only existed from 1947 - 1956, confirming their age of at least 68 years. The pretty green and pink ivy pattern was painted with skill and offers a lovely colour palette for spring. The bowls are wide and deep, and can be used for seafood, soups or dessert. The 2 serving plates compliment the bowls and provide a table serving set for 8 people. Bowls - 20 X 4 cm. Plates - 25 cm. In well preserved condition for their age, no significant cracks or chips across all pieces. 1 plate and 1 bowl have a tiny chip under the rim, not significant or very visible. Some small irregularities in the paintwork and ceramic being hand made and hand painted. *mondial relay delivey includes insurance to 125€. *we are experienced in packaging and sending ceramic sets.
