Pair of zoomorphic jasba vases, rare vintage duck head jug from the 1970s, West German pottery vase, rare fat lava glazed in tobacco brown and black, it has a very textured body, handle and animal head with a beak. This striking and highly original vase was made in limited numbers around 1970, shortly before the closure of Jasba's innovative art pottery section. Soon after its establishment in 1926, Jasba evolved into a specialist in high quality mosaics. As a traditional German brand producing in Germany, jasba stands for high quality products, brilliant glazes and exemplary design. height 25cm/ 10inches width: 16cm top diameter of the jug: 7cm excellent condition.
