Description
Mid-20th century gray Sommerso Murano vase, created by Flavio Poli (Italy, 1960s). This vase is an intense, transparent gray, with an eight-sided geometric facet that resembles a diamond. The “sommerso” (Italian for submerged) technique was a very popular trend in Murano between the 1950s and 1970s.
