Both potteries are in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. Both are intact. These are very beautiful brown glazed stoneware. The pieces were turned and then enameled. The pitcher with the narrow neck has a fairly cold dark brown enamel, and very slightly satiny, while the pitcher with the large flared neck has a much warmer, but also more matte, brown enamel. Both pieces are very well made, they are quite heavy. The pottery comes from the workshop of jean dubost, which was based in noron la poterie, in normandy in calvados., and dates from the 1970s. The craze for the beautiful authentic production of jean dubost in the 1970s will contribute to the great return to favor of this type of glazed stoneware in homes. Both pieces are marked on the reverse, signed at the tip. The dimensions given in the ad are those of the pitcher with the flared neck. The narrow-necked pitcher measures 20 cm high, 12 cm wide and 10.5 cm deep. The collar opening measures approximately 2.5 cm.
