old chest of drawers in walnut and burr walnut, gray marble top

Large chest of 4 drawers assembled in dovetail. The 4 drawer fronts are made of burr walnut, a 1 cm thick board. Each drawer is equipped with a functional lock, a chiseled pewter keyhole and 2 matching handles, floral designs. The top is 18 mm thick black/gray marble with cut-away front corners to perfectly match the shape of the furniture. The front base is covered in wood in the louis philippe style. Beautiful and authentic quality chest of drawers, traditional 19th century manufacturing. Perfectly functional piece of furniture; the drawers slide easily, the 4 locks are operational, 1 key provided. In good general condition considering its age; traces of use on the marble top, some impact marks on the walnut burr, a few screw holes without impact on the structure. Interior of drawers: width 91 cm / height 10 or 14 cm / depth 41 cm.
