Luminator floor lamp mod.Alfa 1930s

The floor lamp mod. Alfa produced by luminator italiano in the 1930s has become a true typology, And many manufacturers have copied its design in more or less detail, some such as fontana arte and flos have named their models after the company in homage to this historic model. The floor lamp is made of burnished brass, the diffuser is made of aluminium and the lamp holder is height-adjustable so that the width of the light beam can be varied. The bulb socket is e40, but it is nevertheless fitted with an e27 adapter. Bibliography: Domus 87, march 1935, p. 22. The lamp is in good condition but has patina, small dents and signs of wear, consistent with its age, highlighted in the photos.
