Small vintage bolete in off-white digoin & sarreguemines earthenware, decorated with a floral pattern in shades of blue, orange and burgundy as well as a black border. Stamped with the coat of arms of the manufacture de digoin, la faïencerie de digoin-sarreguemines, founded in 1875 by jules chagnaud, was one of the main ceramic manufacturers in france. After a merger in 1919 with the manufacture de sarreguemines, the company became famous for its tableware and decorative earthenware objects. Unfortunately, the earthenware factory closed in 2008, but its legacy lives on through its pieces prized by collectors. It will bring a touch of charm and authenticity to your table.
