This is a wonderfully stylish 1950s French ceramic centerpiece; fruit bowl in two-tone white and black enameled ceramic, the underside of the black having a purple iridescence. Marked with a form number (6768) and the verceram stamp 'v' on the base. This characteristic color is emblematic of this period. Verceram was a well-known French ceramic manufacturer who produced many lamps as well as vases and ashtrays in this iconic two-tone style, typical of avant-garde fashion of the 1950s. This delightful bowl would be a real centerpiece in any room vintage style from the middle of the last century. This is a very striking centerpiece, fruit bowl or other decorative piece. An ideal gift for anyone with mid-century influence in their home. In excellent condition, with no cracks or chips, with only the expected signs of age. Please view all photos and remember it is at least 60 years old and pre-owned. Approximate measurements: Width - 52 cm. Maximum depth - 21 cm. Maximum height - 14 cm.
