Pair of bold kilim rugs handmade oriental silk & wool area rugs- 80x138cm

These bold yellow rugs are a pair of handmade flatwoven kilim rugs, constructed in the early 2000s. The central design has been oven on a yellow background with a large medallion woven in accents of rust, blue and green that make up the intricate medallion and surrounding corner design. This has then been framed by a layered blue and beige border. Suitable for styling with both classic and contemporary interiors. These rugs are currently joint at the fringe, making one long runner, however, they can be separated to make two separate area rugs. These beautiful wool kilims were made with organic hand-spun wool and silk that have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques that have been used for generations. The materials and flatweave techniques used make this area rug highly durable and sure to last decades if cared for correctly. Bg378. 80x113cm.
