Marquetry slope desk

Louis XV style sloping desk in cherry and flower marquetry of different types of wood. Varnished finish. Circa 1950. Checkerboard friezes in ebony veneer and boxwood fillets. 2 drawers on the front and 4 small drawers inside with gilded bronze handles. Writing case lined with olive green leather with gold braid (some slight traces of use). Gilded bronze keyhole and its key. Golden brass compass. Total depth of the desk with the flap lowered: 87 cm. Very good state.
