Bronze and amber glass pendant light circa 1900

Early 20th century ceiling light of very nice size. A frame with openwork decoration of bronze acanthus leaves holds an amber glass globe. A stylized "acorn" closes the glass globe. Stamped "br mod dep" (registered model). The light highlights the diamond patterns of the glass. Requires bayonet screw bulb. The bronze parts appear to have been re-gilded and patinated. Diameter of the globe 22cm height to the top of the glass globe: 30cm total height: 87cm (possibility of shortening the height by removing links) weight 2.750kg ref 55/24.
