Ottoman Vitoria Regia by Fernando & Humberto Campana for Estudio Campana

In 1984, humberto and his younger brother fernando co-founded the campana studio in são paulo. Over the years, they have developed a totally new design style and have become pioneers of disruptive design. Their design language is deeply rooted in brazilian culture. It's the perfect mix of a lot of colors, a lot of materials and just the right amount of creative chaos. The vittoria regia stool, created in 2002, is an adaptation of the sushi series. It is composed of the remains of tablecloths, underlayments of carpet and colored plastic mounted on a circular structure of brushed stainless steel. Each piece is unique and handcrafted by estudio campana in sao paulo. The name comes from its resemblance to the vitoria regia, a giant water lily found in the brazilian amazon.
