Old green kitchen table with extensions

We propose a table as we already loved them in the 50s, and which, then, furnished the kitchens of our elders. It was the place of life par excellence for the family. That is what we find here. This magnificent table has all the characteristics sought: With 4 solid wood legs; Equipped with 2 extensions that are discreetly slipped under the main tray to stretch them or not; thus, the total length increases from 122, to 164, or even in total to 206 cm. A drawer is present on one of the extensions, compartmentalized as was done at the time to store the cutlery, close to the meal. Each foot is protected by a zinc sheath that wants to protect the wood against moisture. The result is indeed obtained since the wood is intact. The top, like the extensions, present this famous linoleum specific to this period, whose green colors, protects the surfaces but also offers a design as sought after as it is incomparable. (you can even read the news printed on part of the surface by a newspaper that has been on the table for too long...). The whole breathes good 50s.
