Set of 6 Alfra Alessi ice cream cups in 10/18 stainless steel vintage design 1950

Magnificent and rare iconic design set set of 6 ice cream cups or cups, design by carlo alessi for alfra alessi, in 10/18 stainless steel. Vintage ice cream service marked alessi 18/8 stainless steel made in italy and designed in the 1950s by carlo alessi. Born in granerolo (verbania) in 1916, he studied technical drawing at the omar institute in novara and entered the metal household goods workshop at a very young age, founded by his father giovanni in 1921. From the in the mid-1930s, he designed a large number of alessi objects for around ten years, including the 'ottagonale', 'cilindrica' and the famous 'bombé' series. During the 1950s brushed interior, polished exterior, quality element heavy and stable cup dimensions diameter 10 cm. Height 7 cm.
