Here is a large old frame of montparnasse style, imposing format. Carved and patinated wood. Period (a priori): verse: 1930-1950. The montparnasse frames mark the return of carved wood in the frames. Their patina, often clear, and their deliberately coarse and nervous appearance are better suited to modern works. Characteristic of the montparnasse style, raw, aged, imperfect appearance.
