“Dolce vita” lamp

We fell in love with this magnificent opaline round shape and white color / transparent gradient imagined by the famous italian designer – gaëtano sciolari – in the 1970s. This globe was previously associated with a chandelier but time has done its work and this globe was left an orphan. So here it is mounted as a portable lamp to illuminate your interior, here or there, for a very soft atmosphere. He was the founder and first president of the italian professional association of lighting manufacturers, which is still very active today. All of sciolari's creations combine avant-garde formal research, with geometric inspirations but always elegant and sophisticated, with a preference for working with glass, brass and chrome. This important designer in the history of lighting was recently massively rediscovered and is highly sought after by collectors!.
