Floor lamp ‘polifemo’, designed by carlo forcolini for the production company artemide in italy in 1983. The name for this lamp came from polifemo, a musical opera about the mythical cyclops polyphemus, written by the napolitean composer nicola porpora. The white ‘cyclops eye’ on top can be tilted to have a different reflection and shade effect. Some laquer loss on the white disk and oxidation on the foot but in decent condition. H: 217 cm. W: 51 cm. D: 30 cm.
