Late 19th century Directoire style bedside table with kidney-shaped burl marquetry

This late 19th century bedside table is in the directoire style, it is made of burl and marquetry. It is kidney shaped, pleasing to the eye, nicely inlaid. It is chic and elegant in the french way. It is an unprepared, unrestored piece of furniture. We report scratches and rubbing in places, visible in the photos. Note that the marble is broken and glued back together. However, this piece of furniture remains presentable, but not perfect. We will not deliver by post for this type of item which is too bulky but we work with carriers, please contact us for a quote.
