Murano hand blown glass globe pendant lamp, made in italy in the 1960s early 1970s designed for mazzega (attributed, no label present), the father of this innovative space-age style of murano glass lighting. The metal support goes around the globe, giving it a very nice design. A unique piece of its kind for the size and shape of the blown glass, the pattern with white speckles called merletto (italian for lace). The merletto pattern creates a beautiful soft and bright light. The item is in good overall conditions with signs of ageing, normal for a vintage lamp. Please note that one screw is missing as shown in picture. Doesn't affect at all the functionality of the lamp. The lamp requires one e27 light bulb not included in the parcel.
