Description
Made in czechoslovakia, ceramic manufacturer - keramické závody jílové u děčína. The factory originally for the production of metal goods in jílové u děčína was founded by the brothers emil and otto mehner in 1887. In 1915, the production range was expanded to include earthenware and wooden items. Production consisted of assembled goods, kitchen sets, fruit plates, butter dishes, smoking sets, candlesticks, vases, baskets, etc. In 1945, the factory was nationalized, and in 1947 it was incorporated into the company spojené keramické závody, n.p., teplice. In 1958, it became part of the company keramické závody, n.p., znojmo. In 1965, production in jílové ended and the factory was closed. The production of this factory is represented in the sub-collection by four objects. The butter jar with a tin lid comes from the period of the mehner brothers, when objects from combined materials were widely produced. Bowls decorated with sprayed floral decor prove production after the middle of the 20th century.
