Iconic living room table called "CIRCLE", created by Pierre Paulin in 1960 for ARTIFORT. It is made up of a metal foot and a blond wooden top in excellent condition. In 1958, the furniture publishing house Artifort, based in Maastricht, decided to move towards contemporary furniture and brought together a team of designers including Pierre Paulin He participated in the development of the Denon wing of the Louvre museum , and in 1970 designed the private apartments of President Pompidou at the Élysée, then the offices of President Francois Mitterand.
