Beautiful portrait in oil on cardboard, signed joseph-victor roux-champion (1871-1953 ), dated 1905. It is remarkably painted (the artist has a pretty side) and beautifully highlighted by a gilded wooden frame with gold leaf, and adorned with a ribbon of brown velvet. The signature and date are visible on the right middle. This very elegant woman is dressed in a elaborate dress, a period bun and gold jewelry. The peculiarity of this painting is that a miniature photo of the subject has been preserved and pasted at the bottom right of the painting!
