This is a quality desk in very good original condition. The wooden finish has some patina and small age marks. The top of the table has a thin layer of paint called "flader" which was popular in the 1930s as a wood grain imitation. A refurbishment of this layer would involve taking off the paint and polishing the wooden desk beneath.
