Engraved Chinese lacquer cabinet

Very beautiful wardrobe engraved only on its face, the doors are dated china xviith century, yellow ochre color. Period: the magnificent doors are dated china xviith century. the cabinet body is newer, made and lacquered in europe by seasoned craftsmen to give a harmonious overall impression. On the outline of the body of the cabinet, we can discover cartridges decorated with bats and clouds separated from each other by a frieze made of flowers. The decoration of the doors is engraved with a dragon with four claws on the upper part and a fantastic animal with a dragon's head in its lower part. In the lower part of the wardrobe, we can find a decor of rocks, waves and clouds. Each door has its pendant handle. The inside of the doors is covered with paper, it contains three shelves. There are scratches and wear on the inside and chips on the outside.
