Ensemble 'boule' de Villeroy et Boch, model 'avant-garde' 1971, 1st edition

Table service for four people "la boule" or "die kugel" in glazed earthenware, made by helen von boch (born in 1938) for villeroy and boch in 1971. This is the 1st edition. It consists of 19 pieces (4 plates, 4 bowls, 4 dessert plates, 1 hollow dish, 1 tureen with its lid, 1 vegetable, 2 dishes and 1 bowl) forming a ball in different colors (green, yellow and orange). Each piece is marked "villeroy & boch, avant-garde, made in germany". An identical model is kept at the museum of decorative arts in paris. Sun: l: 27cm, d: 27cm, h: 27cm. The state of the object. In very good state of conservation (2 small chips: see photos). Complete. Very rare, for collector.
