Delightful lacquered wooden box. The asian décor features 2 golden birds flying over a chinese or japanese landscape. Signature in the lower left corner. Presence of an inscription inside (louis rivière paris). Was it a chocolate confectioner or a haberdashery. Good general condition, beautiful lacquer for seniority. Just 2 small cracks on the sides and some chips. There is no key, non-functional lock. Dimensions: 19x16x6, 5 cm. Perfect for storing pencils, pens, letters, jewelry, little secrets.
