Art Nouveau empty pocket cup signed Albert Marionnet

Old empty pocket cup in gilded bronze. Art nouveau sculpture by the artist albert marionnet (1852-1910). Very beautiful naturalistic decoration depicting a thistle. 12cm in diameter, 3 cm in height. 4 cylindrical feet to place the cup and ensure great stability. Albert marionnet was a renowned bronze maker, engraver and founder, whose company cise in paris supplied all the luxury boutiques of the second empire and the third republic. His works are present in the collections of the musée d'orsay in paris.
