Old Japanese KDK table/wall fan, 12"
- H43 x W35 x D26
- melting
- black
Description
Kdk will be the leading pre-war japanese fan manufacturer, competing with shibaura. Here is a very rare old model of the very first generation: old logo in pressed brass, engine and heavy body, open protective cage. This proposed unit still wears its identification collar from aichi prefecture in japan. No doubt it was used in its offices, which earned it not to be requisitioned and melted down during the war! Another peculiarity is its date of manufacture. It coincides with the first business of entrepreneur matsushita komosuke, the founder of panasonic. Those years, around the age of 19, he landed his first contract to mold the insulators of these fans. For kdk. Maybe it's one... Rare and historical piece in any case. Kdk fixed head fan (kawakita denki kigyousha), type n, 100v ac, japan, 1919. Restored. Works but preferable for exposure (does not start without help).
