This lovely coffee set is made of limoges porcelain. It consists of a large coffee maker, a sugar bowl and six cups and sub-cups. Dating from the 1930s, it is decorated with a delightful silkscreened decoration declining pink roses on a green lattice frieze... This décor is available in pastel shades of green and pink and enhanced with gold edging. The porcelain is fine and embellished with venetian moldings. In very good condition, this set bears the brands "limoges france bsb". The porcelain factories of limoges are renowned since the 18th century. The porcelain makers have been awarded several times during their participation in world exhibitions in london, paris, vienna, philadelphia and chicago. In 1925, the international exhibition of decorative arts conferred on limoges the title of "international capital of porcelain".
