4 large porcelain plates gala model by Medard de Noblet, hand painted seaweed

These large gala model plates, from the medard de noblat brand, are made of porcelain in an original shape, with wavy edges and their seaweed decoration. Ideal for a table by the sea. They are hand painted (painted by maryvonne in october 2016, it is written below), the decor is in fact different from one plate to another, sometimes the seaweed is from a strong green, with touches of red, sometimes the green is lighter. We like the red border which runs along the edge of the plate with a skilful, very delicate brushstroke and subtly highlights the small shades of red in the seaweed. These plates are superb both in their shape, in their original decoration and in the quality of the porcelain. Width: 31 cm weight of one: 1, 049 kg.
