Antique paper and ivory fan circa 1760. In the medallion, on the plume a scene represents soldiers on horseback helping two peasant women. The throat of the object made up of openwork strands or sticks is richly decorated with fine and delicate floral motifs made by hand. The shoulders are carved and painted directly from the ivory. Are lush vegetation represented in which two figures, angels, blend Finally, at the level of the rivet, the pair of eyes holding the strands and the plumes are made of mother-of-pearl. The bail is made of a brass ring. Very good general used condition of the paper. Open wingspan dimensions 45 cm, overall height 27 cm. Weight 25 gr.
