Description
Bauhaus Cantilever armchair, steel tube and curved wood. Published by Thonet between 1932 and 1935 under number B261. It is the work of a French designer: Emile Guillot (1892-1960) This seat is signed in relief by the “pastille” set in a front leg, 5 cm under the seat. This stamp is extremely rare and is not on all productions of this era. The organization of the forces and the overhang is unique and certainly exclusive. The chrome of the tubing is original and perfect, only traces of friction appear at the points of contact with the ground (underneath). The color of the wood parts is Cherry under organic shellack. The seat is shaped like a “saddle” for more comfort, and certainly elegance! Dimensions: Height: 82 cm - Seat height: 48 cm - width excluding tax: 52 cm - Depth excluding tax: 56 cm More photos and information on request. Delivery France and Europe or collection Alsace
