Chest XVIII th

Old norman wedding chest in painted beech wood - artisanal work of the eighteenth - domed lid - very old naïve polychromy with floral decoration (very erased in places) - gripping ring in wire and moraillon (broken) in original wrought iron - interior in raw wood (some chests were sometimes covered with paper or fabric) - crack on the back but this one is consolidated by a small wooden panel - a lot of charm - timeless.
