Sculptural table lamp in gilded bronze and agate, from the 70s, by Willy Daro. Agate is a variety of chalcedony which is characterized by successive deposits of different colors or tones, it is a fine stone, it measures no less than 22 by 18 cm and presents pretty shades of color to the hues. caramel, ocher, sand, brown... Which gives it a warm and soothing appearance. The light projects there and diffuses a soft atmosphere. Willy Daro is a Belgian post-war and contemporary artist. Willy Daro's work has been offered at auction several times, with realized prices ranging from $325 to $15,012, depending on the size and medium of the work. Since 2007, this artist's record price at auction has been USD 15,012 for a standard lamp, sold at Phillips in London in 2013. The electrical system works with two E-14 bulbs, the elements are all original and are in perfect working condition. A must-have for top-class decor and an investment without a doubt.
