Charming stool of the 60s or 70s with a chromed metal base and a brown skaï seat, imitation leather, from the soudexvinyl brand. It is in good general condition, very solid, the skaï is not holed, the padding still well formed, the black plastic pads are present and in good condition, but it has some small marks of its age: some points of corrosion on the chromium, little and little visible, some small clear dots on the skaï (micro-drops of paint probably, he must have seen some work of it!). And the original detail is that the seat is offset by 45 ° compared to its usual position on the base: the feet are on the sides of the square of the seat and not on the corners as is usually the case. At first, I thought it was original, but on closer inspection, I realized that it was done later, probably to give it one more life, the screws that held the seat in place originally had to turn in a vacuum, that's why someone turned the seat, so that the screws caught again! It's clever! And here he is still very much alive today! He deserves to continue this life! It is 47 cm high, the seat is a square of 28 cm side, the footprint of the base is a square of 32 cm side. It weighs about 2 kg.
