English vintage rattan beach chair

An antique beach chair, probably from the 1940s, in a beautiful honey-colored rattan weave and brown leather. The rattan is in perfect condition with no breaks or missing parts. The chair also has the original leather straps. The armchair was designed so that it could be easily transported to the beach or picnic when folded and offers a reasonable seating option on site. Under the seat there is a compartment with a flap which makes it possible to transport the stand or picnic supplies as well as a bottle of wine in style. The front runners of the chair are covered with leather and hand-sewn. This chair was made in england and is a highlight of chair design.
